We here at Complete Music we are in the business of doing our best to make your event a success. However not all DJ’s are the same nor are all vendors created equal. We all want professionals who are going to remember that your day is important and that professionalism and customer service is a must.

In that spirit we here at Complete Music want to direct you to out preferred vendors link on our webpage and our facebook favorites fan page.

The lists we have created are there to help your find reputable vendors who will help you plan your next event. No matter if you are planning an office party or your 50th wedding anniversary; you need to have folks working for you who truly care about your event, not just someone who wants to cash your check.

As a part of our commitment to serving our clients and helping you with the planning for your event we have a few tips to assist you in choosing vendors for your special day. Please note that Complete Music has been in the business for over 30 years and we have heard all sorts of horror stories concerning vendors who do not give our clients 100%.

So before you hand over a deposit to a vendor, here are a few thoughts.

1. Word of mouth counts more than flashy ad’s.
Talk to prior clients or friends who have used that vendor before and find out what their experience was like. Check out a prospective vendor’s reviews on the internet or your local wedding association/merchants group website. Always ask about a vendor’s reputation before you put a deposit down. No one wants to get stuck with a fly by night DJ who takes your deposit and never shows up for your event.

2. Find out exactly what you are getting for your money.
Many DJ’s will sign you up for a show at a great rate..or so you think. Only after you get the bill will you find out that you also are on the hook for travel time, lights, microphones, or other hidden fees. We have heard this story many times over and warn all of our clients to make sure you know exactly what you are playing for .Here at Complete Music our fee includes a client planning consultation, arriving at the event at least an hour before the event to set up, standard lights and sound system, a professional DJ who may also assist you as a Emcee and event coordinator, and our Signature Show Package.

3. It’s all about you.
This is your party, your special day, your show. So a DJ or any other vendor should treat you as such. When Complete Music is your DJ, you are the boss. We will play whatever you want to dance to and nothing you don’t want to hear. How many times have you been at a party where the DJ killed the dance floor because they failed to listen to what the crowd or the host wanted to dance to and began to play music for themselves?

No matter if your vendor is a DJ, a Caterer, Florist, or whatever; if you are being treated as a contract, and not as a person who has a special day coming up you need to walk away before these people do something to wreck your special day.
